Distinguished Service Medal
|
|
Awarded for exemplary performance beyond the normal call of duty, in keeping with the highest standards of the squadron and performed in a capacity other than actual combat action against the enemy in a manner that distinguishes him from his peers.

Silver Star
|
|
1. Awarded for the actions of an individual in combat that singularly and directly determined the outcome of the squadron's assigned objectives in a manner not qualifying for the Navy Cross.

2. Automatically awarded for shooting down 75 enemy aircraft in FSO.

Distinguished Flying Cross
|
|
1. Awarded for exemplary displays of flying ability, or extreme displays of heroism in aerial combat above and beyond normal expectations, and performed in a manner distinguishing a pilot from his peers.

2. Automatically awarded for the downing of ten aircraft of the enemy during one sortie in FSO (upgradeable if circumstances warrant).

3. Automatically awarded for the downing of 50 enemy aircraft in FSO.

Bronze Star
|
|
Automatically awarded upon flying 25 individual sorties in FSO.
|
|
|
|
Purple Heart
|
|
Automatically awarded upon receiving a pilot wound, and returning to a friendly base to record a successful landing.
|
|
|
|
Air Medal
|
|
1. Awarded for exemplary displays of flying ability, or exceptional performance in aerial combat that distinguishes him among his peers in a manner not warranting the Distinguished Flying Cross.

|
|
2. Automatically awarded for the downing of five aircraft of the enemy in one FSO sortie.
|
|
|
3. Automatically awarded for the destruction of two enemy ground vehicles in a Close Air Support role in one FSO sortie.

4. Automatically awarded for the downing of 25 enemy aircraft in FSO.

1. Awarded for actions worthy of merit and recognition of performed during combat operations not warranting a higher decoration.

2. Automatically awarded for the downing of five aircraft of the enemy in FSO, and achieving the status of "Ace."

|
|

1. Automatically awarded for the downing of thirty enemy aircraft as a squadron in one FSO Sortie (as of 7/11/08)

2. Automatically awarded for leading the country in either total aerial victories or total objects destroyed as a squadron in one frame of FSO (as of 2/15/09).

1. Automatically awarded for the downing of twenty enemy aircraft as a squadron in one FSO Sortie (as of 7/11/08)

Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal

Automatically awarded upon completing each full year of service with the squadron, while maintaining good standing with no probation or suspension in that year (as of 5/1/09).

1. Awarded for participation in surface combat, either on land or sea, during an FSO campaign. May only be issued once per campaign (as of 8/8/09).
