Took off A41 SW at 22:08 hrs with 3 sections: Capt. Morgan and Lt. Bodie, Lts. Drazz and Trol, Lts. Roche and 1Duke1 assigned as wing units. Climbed W to alt. of 10K and turned NNE toward 12,6 section of assigned patrol area.

Arrived in 12,6,4 area at alt. of 29K and set up patrol racetrack between 12,6,4, and 12,6,6 respectively. Climbed to alt. of 30K and continued patrol in sector, reporting altitude, position and heading every 10-15 minutes to Section Leader Warloc.

Received warning of radar enemy detection at A38 at or about 22:30 hrs and turned toward 12,6,7 area to intercept as ordered by Warloc. Enemy AC spotted at 28-30K alt in 11,6,6, sector at 22:40 hrs and reported contact to Section Leader. Engaged approx 20+ Spitfire AC at 30K alt in 11,6,6. Morgan shot down one Enemy AC (confirmed) at 22:50:09. Continued enemy engagement down to deck level. Crashed during evasive maneuver at 22:51:21. All squadron members lost to overwhelming enemy numbers.

Maj. Wyatt flew unattached to supplement. Engaged 12+ Spitfires over A41 and shot down.
